This Double IPA presents a vivid aromatic explosion driven by intensive double dry-hopping. The specific use of Cryo Citra and Cryo Simcoe delivers a saturated profile of bright grapefruit, lime zest, and lush tropical mango, underpinned by an earthy pine resonance. Despite its 8.2% strength, the beer maintains a surprisingly smooth, creamy texture that softens the high hop bitterness. A clean, grainy malt backbone supports the hop intensity throughout, leading to a balanced finish where a faint, pleasant sweetness provides a counterpoint to the resinous, lingering aftertaste. It is a bold, hop-forward experience with refined drinkability and modern hop expression.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper in color (SRM 7-10). It features a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head with excellent lacing and exhibits a slight haze consistent with heavy dry-hopping.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by citrus zest, tropical passion fruit, and mango from the Cryo Citra, complemented by pine needles and a hint of berry from the Cryo Simcoe. The malt character is low and neutral, providing a clean, cracker-like background with a subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth.

Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of grapefruit, resinous pine, and tropical fruit lead the palate. The bitterness is firm and moderately high, typical of the style, but lacks harshness. A low, soft, bready malt character supports the hops, leading to a medium-dry finish that carries a light, lingering sweetness and a clean, bitter aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notable creaminess and smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate to medium-high. A restrained, smooth alcohol warmth is present but integrated, with no harsh hop-derived astringency.
