Caleya Matusalen is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases a massive tropical and citrus bouquet through an intensive double dry-hopped profile. This beer delivers an explosion of stone fruit and pineapple from El Dorado and Galaxy, while Lupomax Citra provides punchy notes of lime zest and bright grapefruit. Eclipse adds a unique sweet mandarin layer, complemented by the floral orange qualities of Amarillo. Its pillowy, soft texture supports a lush, juice-like character with restrained bitterness. The result is a highly aromatic and approachable ale that emphasizes total hop saturation and a smooth, fruity finish without the resinous harshness of traditional IPAs.

Appearance. Straw to deep gold (4–6 SRM) with a characteristic opaque, luminous haze and a healthy shine. It is topped with a thick, meringue-like white head that demonstrates excellent retention and leaves intricate lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity of tropical and citrus fruits. Dominant notes of mango, passion fruit, and nectarine are supported by a background of bready, grainy malt. Subtle fermentation esters of peach integrate seamlessly with the hop-forward profile; no herbal or grassy notes are present.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of juicy pineapple, mandarin orange, and melon. Low to medium-low perceived bitterness provides just enough balance to the soft, grainy malt sweetness. The fermentation is clean, allowing the hop-derived tropical flavors to shine through a medium-dry, smooth finish with a lingering, fruit-saturated aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky, and pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a smooth mouthfeel without being prickly. There is a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth consistent with its strength, and a complete absence of hop-derived astringency.
