This vibrant Double IPA from Caleya presents a saturated hop profile, leveraging a heavy double dry-hopping of Mosaic Cryo, Simcoe Cryo, and Citra Cryo. These hops drive an intense sensory experience of ripe mango, passion fruit, and bright citrus oils that dominate both the nose and the palate. Despite its strength, the beer maintains a remarkable roundness and a silky mouthfeel that softens the high bitterness. A clean, supportive malt base allows the resinous and tropical fruit character to shine without excessive sweetness. It finishes dry and crisp, leaving a lingering, punchy impression of fresh hop resins and tropical depth.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (7-9 SRM). Features a persistent, creamy, off-white head with excellent lacing. Shows a slight to moderate haze consistent with a double dry-hopped profile.

Aroma. Intensity is high, featuring a complex hop bouquet of mango, blueberry, and pine from the Mosaic Cryo and Simcoe Cryo, alongside bright grapefruit zest from the Citra Cryo. Malt is supportive and clean with a neutral grainy character. Fermentation is clean with very low fruity esters.

Taste. Strong, multi-layered hop flavor reflecting the tropical and citrus aroma. High hop bitterness that is firm but smooth, lacking any harsh or astringent edge. Low, soft malt character provides a clean foundation. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a lingering hop-forward aftertaste that emphasizes tropical fruit and resin.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a characteristic silky and round texture. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a crispness that aids drinkability. Subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present but smooth.
