Forest Vibes is a vibrant Wild Specialty Beer that captures the essence of a berry-laden thicket. This Sour Ale delivers an intense aromatic bouquet of fresh blueberry, raspberry, and strawberry. The wild fermentation provides a crisp, lactic acidity that is artfully softened by the addition of lactose, creating a smooth, creamy counterpoint to the tart berry profile. On the palate, the bright acidity of the forest fruits shines through, supported by a subtle sweetness that balances the acidic bite. It is a harmonious marriage of rustic fermentation character and plush fruit intensity, finishing clean with a lingering berry essence.

Appearance. Deep ruby to reddish-purple with a hazy to opaque clarity due to the significant fruit addition. The head is pink-tinted, moderate in height with fair retention, typical of the style.

Aroma. High intensity berry aromatics; jammy raspberry, earthy blueberry, and sweet strawberry are at the forefront. A clean, sharp lactic sourness underpins the fruit, accompanied by a faint, milky sweetness from the lactose. No hop aroma or significant malt character is present.

Taste. A burst of tart red fruit dominates the initial impression, with raspberry providing a sharp edge while strawberry and blueberry add roundness. The sourness is firm but controlled, characteristic of a wild fermentation. Lactose provides a balancing sweetness and a milky flavor that softens the acidity. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering berry tartness; bitterness is negligible.

Mouthfeel. Medium body, enhanced by the addition of lactose which lends a noticeable creaminess and weight. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a spritzy lift that cuts through the fruit density. Low alcohol warmth and no significant tannin-derived astringency.
