This West Coast IPA presents a bold sensory experience led by intense hop complexity. Multiple kettle additions of Columbus and Simcoe establish a firm foundation of resinous pine and spicy earthiness, which is layered with a vibrant dry hopping of Simcoe, Citra, and Mosaic. Expect bright aromas of grapefruit, lime, and tropical passion fruit, accented by a distinct blueberry note. A clean, grainy malt backbone supports the assertive bitterness, while the 7.1% ABV provides a well-integrated, smooth warmth. This American IPA finishes crisp and dry, leaving a lingering trail of citrus zest and herbal resin on the palate.

Appearance. Medium gold to light amber (approx. 8 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent citrus (grapefruit), pine resin, and tropical fruit (passion fruit, mango). Background notes of dank herbs and a hint of berry. Low, clean, bready-grainy maltiness. Fermentation is clean with very low esters.

Taste. Assertive hop-forward profile. Initial impressions of pithy grapefruit and resinous pine from Columbus and Simcoe, followed by tropical notes of Citra and Mosaic. High bitterness, yet clean and not harsh. Low grainy malt sweetness provides minimal balance to the dry finish. Finishes crisp with a long, resinous aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from hop oils. Medium-high carbonation. Noticeable but smooth alcohol warmth. No astringency.
