This American IPA is defined by a high-intensity hop profile that surges with citrus and resinous notes, anchored by a unique foundation of Scottish malts and oat caramel malt. While the 80+ IBUs provide a firm, aggressive bitterness, the addition of oats crafts a remarkably silky, medium-full body that softens the punch. The result is a bold, hop-forward ale where high-alpha American hops find a sophisticated, velvety balance against a rich, grainy backdrop.
Appearance. Ranging from medium gold to deep amber (approx. 8–12 SRM) with a slight haze from the oat additions; features a persistent, medium-sized off-white head that leaves consistent lacing.
Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring bright citrus, pine, and resinous notes. A supportive, low to medium-low malt presence suggests toasted grain and light caramel derived from the Scottish malts, with a clean fermentation profile.
