Buxton Brewery’s Sorbus is a modern expression of the American Pale Ale, leaning into the soft, fruit-forward profile of a New England style. A vibrant double dry hop of Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo drives the sensory experience, delivering a saturated profile of tropical mango, ripe stone fruit, and bright citrus zest. While the base provides a clean, supportive malt backbone of light bread and grain, the focus remains on the lush hop character. The result is a smooth, approachable ale that balances a delicate bitterness with a juicy, aromatic finish, showcasing the classic trio of hops in a contemporary, hazy format.

Appearance. Pale golden to light amber (SRM 5-7). Features a moderately large, creamy off-white head with good retention and lacing. Exhibits a characteristic haze consistent with the New England style.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruit, citrus, and stone fruit. Distinct notes of mango and passionfruit from Citra and Mosaic are complemented by the bright orange and floral lift of Amarillo.
