Lugg-Edge is a vibrant Hazy IPA that merges the tropical intensity of Neon Raptor’s Naughty Luggage with the assertive hop character of Buxton’s Axe Edge. It pours an opaque, glowing gold with a dense, meringue-like head. The nose is a powerhouse of overripe mango, passion fruit, and bright citrus zest, underpinned by a clean, bready malt foundation. On the palate, waves of pineapple and stone fruit dominate, supported by a soft, pillowy mouthfeel and a restrained but present bitterness that ensures a clean, drinkable finish. This collaboration delivers a luscious, juice-forward experience while maintaining the structural hop depth expected from its parentage.

Appearance. Color is deep straw to light gold (4-6 SRM) with a profound, uniform haze that creates a luminous glow. It is topped by a thick, rocky, white head with excellent retention and significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics featuring a complex blend of tropical fruits like mango, pineapple, and guava, alongside notes of orange zest and peach. The malt character is subtle, providing a clean, lightly bready and doughy background without any toast or caramel notes.

Taste. Massively hop-forward with flavors of passion fruit, stone fruit, and grapefruit pith. The malt flavor is low, suggesting sweet grains and fresh bread. Bitterness is moderate, perceived as soft rather than sharp, providing enough balance to prevent a cloying sensation. The aftertaste is juicy and clean, lingering with tropical fruit esters.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably smooth, soft, and slightly creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate. There is no hop astringency or harshness, and the 6.5% ABV provides a very faint, well-integrated warmth.
