Buxton Brewery’s Fresh Pulp is a vibrant Hazy IPA that prioritizes a saturated tropical profile through a double dry-hopped regimen. The inclusion of Citra and El Dorado drives a core of mango and pineapple, while the specific addition of tropical fruit pulp pushes a sharp, authentic passion fruit aroma to the forefront. Supported by the resinous citrus notes of Centennial and Chinook alongside the modern fruitiness of Harlequin, the beer offers a complex, multi-layered juicy experience. A soft, bready malt base provides the essential structure, ensuring the intense fruit character remains balanced without becoming cloying, finishing with a smooth, restrained bitterness.

Appearance. Straw to gold (3-6 SRM). Opaque with a characteristic hazy shine. Pours with a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head that shows excellent retention and leaves thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring dominant passion fruit, mango, and pineapple. Secondary notes of citrus peel and a hint of resinous pine. The malt presents as a neutral, lightly bready, and grainy background that supports the fruit without competing.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with intense passion fruit and tropical citrus. The malt flavor is low, providing a soft, bready foundation. Perceived bitterness is low to moderate, lacking any harsh edges. The finish is off-dry and smooth with a lingering, juicy aftertaste of tropical fruit.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. No astringency or hop burn is present, and the 6% ABV provides a very light, well-integrated warmth.
