The palate transition is seamlessly sweet and tropical, showcasing the unique terroir of Southern Hemisphere hops against a clean, supportive malt backdrop. Despite its lower alcohol content, it maintains a firm, moreish bitterness that demands another sip. This pale gold ale balances modern hop intensity with a crisp, dry finish, offering a refined journey through bright, sun-ripened fruit flavors.
Appearance. Medium gold (approx. 7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves delicate lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate-high intensity featuring prominent stone fruit notes of peach and apricot alongside tropical highlights of passion fruit and mango. Low, clean, grainy-sweet malt provides a subtle foundation, allowing the New Zealand hop character to remain the focal point. Fermentation is clean with negligible esters.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward, leading with a sweet tropical fruit medley and stone fruit flavors. A moderate to firm hop bitterness provides structure, balancing the light, bready malt character.
