Winding Path is a contemporary American Pale Ale that highlights a lush, tropical hop profile supported by a soft grain bill. The inclusion of oats and wheat creates a velvety texture that serves as a smooth canvas for the vibrant additions of Citra, Galaxy, and Vic Secret hops. These varieties deliver a concentrated sensory experience reminiscent of a tropical cocktail, bursting with overripe pineapple, punchy passionfruit, and soft stone fruits. While hop-forward, the beer remains exceptionally balanced with a clean fermentation profile, allowing the complex fruit character to linger elegantly against a subtle, neutral malt backdrop.

Appearance. Pale golden (approx 5-7 SRM) with a slight haze from the high protein content of oats and wheat. It supports a moderately large, creamy white head with excellent retention and fine lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aroma dominated by tropical fruits. Pronounced notes of passionfruit and overripe pineapple are layered with citrus zest and a hint of stone fruit. Low, neutral grainy maltiness provides a clean foundation without distracting from the modern hop character.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical fruit flavors, featuring mango, pineapple, and citrus from the Citra and Galaxy hops. The malt presence is low and bready, serving only to support the hop intensity. Bitterness is moderate and well-integrated, leading to a medium-dry, clean finish where passionfruit notes from the Vic Secret linger without harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a distinctively velvety and creamy texture due to the addition of oats and wheat. Carbonation is moderate, providing a smooth, soft mouthfeel without any noticeable alcohol warmth or astringency.
