Wild Lands is a contemporary interpretation of the American Pale Ale, showcasing a vibrant, tropical-forward character within a gluten-free, hazy frame. The sensory experience is led by an intense infusion of Citra and Krush hops, which release a lush medley of ripe pineapple, succulent guava, and tangy passionfruit. These tropical notes are sharpened by a bright, crisp citrus freshness that prevents the palate from becoming overly heavy. A soft, hazy body provides a smooth vehicle for the hop-derived oils, while a clean, pale malt foundation offers just enough structural support to allow the modern hop varieties to shine through to a refreshing, balanced finish.
Appearance. SRM 5; pale golden with a persistent, moderately large white head that leaves attractive lacing. Significant haze is present, rendering the liquid opaque.
Aroma. Moderately high hop intensity featuring a complex blend of pineapple, guava, and passionfruit. A supporting citrus freshness is evident, layered over a low, neutral, grainy malt character with a clean fermentation profile.
Taste. The initial impression is hop-forward, dominated by tropical fruit flavors and bright citrus. Low neutral maltiness provides a thin but necessary backbone. Bitterness is moderate and well-integrated, providing enough structure to balance the fruitiness without being harsh. The finish is medium-dry with a clean, lingering hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a soft, smooth texture typical of modern hazy styles. Carbonation is moderate. No alcohol warmth or astringency is perceived, contributing to high drinkability.
