This classic West Coast style American IPA presents an assertive sensory profile defined by its heritage hop blend. Citra and Amarillo drive a bright citrus forwardness of orange and grapefruit, while Chinook and Cascade contribute deep resinous pine and a hint of spice. The grist, featuring Extra Pale and Vienna malts, provides a clean, crackery backbone that supports the bitterness without becoming heavy. A measured addition of Caramalt adds a touch of crystalline sweetness and golden color. The result is a highly moreish beer with a dry, clean finish and a lingering, pithy hop character.

Appearance. Brilliant clarity, deep gold to pale amber color (7-9 SRM). Pours with a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves consistent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by citrus peel, specifically grapefruit and orange, alongside a distinct resinous pine character. Low, clean malt notes of toasted bread and a hint of honey support the hops. Fermentation profile is neutral and clean.

Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with intense flavors of tangerine, grapefruit pith, and pine needles. The malt presence is low to medium-low, offering a grainy, slightly toasted flavor with a subtle caramel edge. Bitterness is firm and clean, leading into a dry, crisp finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste.
