Into the Clouds is a pillowy New England Pale Ale that balances modern hop intensity with exceptional drinkability. The grist, featuring a heavy addition of oats and dextrin malts alongside a touch of caramel aromatic, provides a remarkably soft, creamy foundation. This supple base supports a complex hop melody; Talus contributes vibrant tropical fruit and distinctive berry notes, while Citra and HBC 630 layer in bright citrus and ripe stone fruit. The result is a refreshing, juice-forward experience that maintains the approachable bitterness of a classic American Pale Ale while showcasing the multifaceted character of its contemporary hop profile.

Appearance. Pale golden (approx. 5-6 SRM) with a dense, uniform haze and an opaque quality. Features a thick, long-lasting white head with significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruits like mango and papaya, coupled with bright grapefruit citrus. Subtle floral and berry-like notes from the HBC 630 and Talus hops are prominent. A low, sweet, bready malt scent from the oats provides a clean backdrop.

Taste. Initial impression is a juicy burst of peach, raspberry, and citrus zest. The malt flavor is supportive and bready with a very light touch of caramel sweetness. Bitterness is moderate (approx. 35-40 IBU), providing balance without being sharp. The finish is smooth and off-dry, leaving a lingering impression of tropical fruit and lime.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a characteristic silky, creamy texture from the oats. Carbonation is moderate, and there is no perceived alcohol warmth. The finish is exceptionally smooth and free of any hop astringency.
