This refreshing American Wheat Beer presents an inviting profile defined by a foundation of extra pale and wheat malts. The inclusion of dextrin malt enhances a distinct cereal doughiness that provides a soft backbone to the experience. Citra and Amarillo hops deliver bright notes of light citrus and zesty orange, while Cascade contributes a subtle, underlying spiciness and floral lift. The fermentation is clean and neutral, allowing the interplay of grainy, bready malt notes and vibrant hop aromatics to take center stage. With its crisp finish and balanced bitterness, Great Plains captures the approachable yet layered character of the style.

Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (4 SRM). Topped with a large, long-lasting white head with fine lacing. Clarity is slightly hazy, typical of a wheat-heavy grist.

Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring grainy and doughy wheat notes. A prominent citrus hop character follows, with specific notes of orange peel and lemon zest. Low spicy and floral undertones. No clove phenols or banana esters present; clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial bready and cereal wheat flavors are balanced by a moderate hop bitterness. Flavors of citrus and orange from Citra and Amarillo are apparent, followed by a light spiciness. The finish is crisp and dry, with a lingering grainy wheat sweetness and clean aftertaste.
