Eternal Rays is a refreshing Czech Premium Pale Lager that balances traditional heritage with contemporary crispness. The grain bill, featuring lager malt, flaked maize, and chit malt, creates a luminous, clean base that emphasizes a light and crispy profile. Traditional Saaz hops delivered in the whirlpool provide a sophisticated floral and spicy bouquet that defines the aromatic experience. On the palate, expect a nuanced bready-rich maltiness supported by a firm, rounded bitterness that lingers gracefully. This gluten-free interpretation offers a bright, highly drinkable character while maintaining the complex depth and elegant structure expected of a classic Bohemian-inspired pilsner.
Appearance. Luminous deep gold color (4-5 SRM). Brilliant clarity. Topped with a dense, long-lasting, creamy white head that leaves delicate lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. A pronounced spicy and floral hop bouquet from the Saaz hops is the primary driver. Supporting bready-rich malt character with very faint sweet graininess. Clean fermentation profile with no significant esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Rich, bready maltiness upfront, subtly lightened by the use of flaked maize. Prominent but soft and rounded hop bitterness that remains clean and never harsh. Classic hop flavors of spice and wildflower. Finishes clean and dry with a lingering herbal hop presence and a crisp, refreshing quality.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Moderate to high carbonation provides a lively, refreshing prickle. No alcohol warmth is perceived at this gravity.
