Echo Lake captures the spirit of a West Coast American IPA with a modern, double dry-hopped focus. A complex malt bill featuring Vienna and caramalt provides a lean, golden base that supports an explosive hop profile. The aromatic intensity is driven by Centennial and Chinook, delivering classic notes of resinous pine and grapefruit zest. Mosaic adds a contemporary layer of tropical fruit and a distinctive dankness. On the palate, a firm bitterness balances the clean, grainy malt character, leading to a crisp and dry finish. This beer showcases a bright, citrus-forward clarity and a refreshing, hop-saturated experience that remains remarkably drinkable despite its assertive hop character.

Appearance. Medium gold color (approx. 7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a thick, frothy, white head featuring excellent persistence and heavy lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by citrus (grapefruit and lemon) and heavy resinous pine from Centennial and Chinook. Mosaic provides a supportive layer of tropical fruit and berry. Malt is low, presenting as clean bread and a faint toasty sweetness. Fermentation is very clean with no esters.

Taste. Strong hop flavors of grapefruit, pine resin, and dank herbs lead the profile. Medium-high bitterness is sharp and clean, cutting through a supportive but low malt backbone of toasted grain and very light caramel. Fermentation is clean, leading to a medium-dry and crisp finish with a long, resinous, and bitter aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively prickle on the tongue. Alcohol warmth is not perceptible, and there is no hop-derived astringency.
