Inspiration is a vibrant American Pale Ale that bridges the gap between classic West Coast structure and modern, juicy intensity. A lean malt base provides a crisp, unobtrusive canvas, allowing a complex hop profile to dominate the senses. Aromas of bright grapefruit and resinous pine from Chinook and Citra are amplified by Citra Dynaboost, while a generous dry hop of Strata introduces layers of tropical passionfruit and subtle herbal notes. This modern approach results in a beer that is remarkably clean and refreshing, delivering a firm but balanced bitterness that yields to a dry, lingering finish of citrus zest and forest floor.

Appearance. Pale golden (approx. 5-7 SRM) with a moderately large, bright white head showing good retention and fine lacing. Clarity is clear to very slightly hazy.

Aroma. High hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit and lime from Citra, backed by resinous, spicy pine from Chinook. The dry-hop addition of Strata contributes distinct tropical passionfruit and berry notes. Low grainy-sweet maltiness provides a neutral background with a clean fermentation profile.

Taste. The initial impression is hop-forward, leading with sharp citrus zest and dank tropical fruit. Low pale malt flavor offers a cracker-like support without caramel interference. Hop bitterness is moderate to high but remains clean. The finish is dry and crisp, with lingering notes of pine resin and tropical fruit in a clean aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate-high carbonation that enhances the crisp, refreshing character. Overall smooth finish with no alcohol warmth or hop-derived astringency.
