Burning Sky Brewery

Burning Sky Beacon presents a sophisticated bridge between continents, reimagining the American Pale Ale with a distinctively European flair. This pale ale features a snappy malt profile that supports a multi-layered hop bouquet. The use of Celeia, Strisselspalt, and Saaz imparts delicate aromas of cut grass and a refined peppery spice, while Centennial adds a bright touch of light citrus fruits. The resulting sensory experience is characterized by its assured bitterness and textural depth. It remains exceptionally drinkable, balancing a clean, grainy malt foundation against a complex, floral, and spicy hop finish that honors its European-style inspiration.

Appearance. Pale golden (approx. 6 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a moderately large, long-lasting white head that leaves delicate lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Moderately high hop intensity featuring herbal cut grass, floral notes, and a distinct peppery spice. Subtle hints of lemon and grapefruit zest are present. The malt aroma is low and grainy-sweet, providing a neutral backdrop with a very clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial impression is of crisp, grainy malt followed by a firm, assured hop bitterness. Flavors of spicy noble hops and earthy grass predominate, complemented by a light citrus pithiness. The balance leans toward the hops, finishing dry and clean with a lingering peppery and herbal aftertaste without harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, crisp texture. Moderate to high carbonation provides a lively prickle on the tongue. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated, with no detectable astringency.
