This award-winning English Porter presents a deep, inviting mahogany profile with a focus on balanced malt complexity. The sensory experience is led by rich notes of milk chocolate, toasted biscuit, and light toffee, underscored by a gentle, non-acrid roastiness reminiscent of soft coffee. Earthy hop undertones provide a subtle counterpoint to the bready malt core. At 5.9% ABV, it offers a slightly fuller presence than traditional examples while maintaining a smooth, drinkable character. The finish is remarkably clean, leaning toward a dry, cocoa-dusted conclusion that invites another sip, showcasing its champion-level technical execution and refined balance.
