Brujos Brewing Hostia
Hostia is a masterfully executed Czech Premium Pale Lager that bridges traditional European technique with modern hop processing. The pseudo decocted mash produces a deep, bready-rich malt profile that serves as a sturdy foundation for the intense hop character. Leveraging both traditional Czech Saaz and Saaz Cryo, the beer delivers an elevated aromatic bouquet of spice, dried herbs, and soft floral notes. The palate is characterized by a complex maltiness and a firm but remarkably soft, rounded bitterness. Naturally carbonated and lagered extra cold, it finishes with a clean, crisp elegance that emphasizes its refreshing, high-quality craftsmanship.
Appearance. Deep gold color with brilliant clarity; produces a dense, long-lasting, creamy white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. Medium-high intensity featuring rich, bready malt and a vibrant, complex hop bouquet of spice, herbs, and flowers from the Czech Saaz and Saaz Cryo; fermentation is very clean with no diacetyl or fruity esters.
