This modern Irish Red Ale presents a sophisticated balance between traditional malt complexity and contemporary hop character. A robust backbone derived from Pale and Biscuit malts provides a firm, crackery foundation, while Caramunich II and Arome malts introduce layers of soft toffee and rich caramel. A subtle inclusion of Chocolate malt provides the signature reddish hue and a whisper of roasted dryness. Uniquely, the use of Chinook hops adds a distinctive piney resin to the aroma, elevating the earthy profile. The result is a clean, easy-drinking pint that honors its heritage while offering a crisp, refreshing finish.
Appearance. Medium reddish-copper color with excellent clarity. Crowning the pour is a low, off-white to light tan head with average persistence and light lacing.
Aroma. Moderate malt intensity featuring prominent toasty and biscuity notes. Layers of light caramel and toffee are balanced by a low but distinct piney and slightly resinous hop aroma from the Chinook. The fermentation profile is quite clean with no perceptible esters.

The Chinook hops contribute a light woody and piney flavor that complements the signature hint of roasted grain dryness in the finish. Clean and smooth with a slight malt lean.
