Beach, Please! is a decadent Baltic Porter that masterfully integrates rich specialty ingredients to achieve a liquid mocha experience. The clean bottom-fermented profile allows the deep malt foundations of caramel and fresh bread to shine, while the infusion of freshly roasted Guatemala coffee and Satipo Peru cocoa nibs provides an intense, earthy layer of dark chocolate and espresso. Appearance. Opaque dark brown to deep copper with ruby highlights; features a thick, persistent, tan-colored head with dense lacing.
Aroma. High intensity featuring rich malt notes of caramel, toffee, and toasted bread, heavily layered with freshly roasted coffee and earthy dark chocolate. Subtle esters of plum and raisin are present, with a clean fermentation profile and no hop aroma.
Taste. Initial malty sweetness gives way to a complex blend of espresso, bittersweet chocolate, and molasses. Smooth, roasted flavors reminiscent of a mocha latte dominate the mid-palate, supported by faint black currant and cherry fruitiness.
