This Imperial Stout is a powerhouse of complexity, crafted from a robust grain bill of roasted malts and roasted barley. At 12% ABV, it presents a deep, multifaceted profile where intense notes of dark chocolate and espresso meld with a subtle dark fruit ester character reminiscent of figs and raisins. Despite the high extract and significant strength, the beer maintains a remarkable balance, avoiding cloying sweetness with a firm, integrated bitterness. Appearance. Jet black and opaque (40 SRM); features a dense, deep tan head with moderate retention and visible legs on the glass due to high viscosity and alcohol content.
