This Double IPA, a collaboration with Hop Revolution Farms, showcases the vibrant terroir of New Zealand hops. Nelson Sauvin provides a signature burst of crushed white wine grapes and gooseberry, while Pacific Sunrise adds layers of sun-ripened melon and bright citrus. Despite its 7.5% ABV, the beer maintains a high level of drinkability with a soft, hazy profile that balances its punchy hop intensity. A lean, neutral malt base allows the hop-derived tropical fruit and stone fruit notes to dominate from start to finish, culminating in a dry exit with a clean, lingering bitterness that invites another sip.

Appearance. Pale gold to light orange (6-8 SRM). Opaque with a heavy haze and a dense, persistent, white head that leaves significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aroma dominated by tropical fruit and New World hop character. Distinctive notes of white wine grape and gooseberry from the Nelson Sauvin are prominent, supported by lemon-lime citrus and stone fruit melon from the Pacific Sunrise. Background malt is neutral and grainy, with a clean fermentation profile and a hint of smooth alcohol.

Taste. An initial wave of intense tropical fruit and crushed grape leads into hop flavors of gooseberry, melon, and citrus zest. Bitterness is moderately high but remains soft and integrated, lacking harshness. The malt character is low and supportive, providing a soft bready foundation. The finish is dry to medium-dry, leaving a lingering hoppy trail of citrus and light resin.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Subtle, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated. Lacks hop-derived astringency.
