Warrior presents a modern, hop-saturated profile typical of a contemporary American IPA. The sensory experience is dominated by an intense hop selection: Sabro provides distinct notes of creamy coconut and tropical fruit, while Mosaic and Mosaic Spectrum contribute layers of ripe blueberry and resinous pine. Citra rounds out the bouquet with a bright burst of lime and pink grapefruit. A lean, grainy malt base allows these vibrant hop characters to take center stage. The finish is crisp and decidedly bitter, with a lingering citrus zest that invites another sip, showcasing a clean fermentation and refreshing complexity.
Appearance. Medium gold (approx. 7 SRM) with a slight haze. Supports a medium-sized, persistent white head with good lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent coconut and tropical fruit, coupled with signature berry and pine notes. A bright citrus layer of grapefruit and lime is present. Malt is low and clean, offering a simple, grainy cracker-like backdrop with a clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial hop-forward impression of tropical fruit and citrus. Malt flavor is low and neutral, providing a clean foundation for medium-high bitterness. Flavors of coconut, blueberry, and resinous pine persist through the mid-palate. Finishes dry and crisp with a lingering, clean hoppy bitterness and no harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively mouthfeel. No alcohol warmth is perceived.
