Puppet Master is a vibrant American IPA that highlights the uniquely green and resinous punch of fresh wet hops. The sensory profile is defined by an assertive, oily freshness, characterized by pungent pine, bright citrus, and a subtle grassy chlorophyll note from the undried cones. Supporting the hop intensity is a clean, understated malt backbone that provides just enough structural graininess without cloying sweetness. Its West Coast roots ensure a crisp, bracing bitterness and a notably dry finish. At 7.5% ABV, a smooth, integrated warmth underscores the finish, enhancing the expansive hop flavors and leaving a lingering, resinous trail.

Appearance. Brilliant clarity with a deep golden to light copper hue. Pours with a dense, creamy, off-white head that exhibits excellent persistence and leaves intricate lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Intense and multifaceted aroma led by fresh, wet hop characteristics. Vibrant notes of sticky pine resin, crushed grapefruit peel, and a distinct herbal, grassy freshness dominate. Low, clean, bready malt sweetness acts as a backdrop, while fermentation is clean with only a trace of pear-like esters.

Taste. Initial impression is a sharp, clean bitterness that quickly gives way to expansive hop flavors of orange marmalade, spruce tips, and dank herbs.
