Mind Prisoner presents a vivid sensory experience, defined by an aggressive dry-hopping regime that showcases a complex trio of modern hops. The aromatic profile is dominated by the tropical and coconut-laden presence of Sabro Cryo, intertwined with the passionfruit and bright strawberry notes of Strata. Underlying these is a subtle, dark berry and floral nuance from Styrian Wolf. This Hazy IPA balances its intense hop saturation with a soft, bready malt presence and a gentle, creamy mouthfeel. Despite its approachable strength, the finish remains juicy and fruit-forward, emphasizing a smooth bitterness that allows the vibrant, multifaceted fruit character to remain the focal point.
Appearance. Straw to pale gold (3-5 SRM). Distinctly hazy and opaque with a soft, luminous quality. Features a tall, white, meringue-like head with excellent retention and significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring notes of ripe pineapple, passionfruit, and a distinct creamy coconut. A background of floral elderflower and light berry is supported by clean, grainy-sweet, bready malt. Fermentation is clean with subtle fruity esters.
Taste. Explosive hop flavors of tropical punch, melon, and coconut lead the palate. Low to medium-low bitterness is exceptionally smooth, never harsh. Malt character is neutral and bready, providing a soft foundation. The finish is off-dry and remarkably juicy, with lingering tropical fruit and a hint of herbal complexity.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a characteristic soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation contributes to a smooth, creamy sensation. No astringency or alcohol warmth is present, maintaining high drinkability.
