The sensory experience is led by an intense, New Zealand-derived bouquet featuring crushed white grapes, gooseberry, and a distinct candy-like red fruit sweetness. A clean, neutral malt base allows these New World hop characters to remain front and center without interference. On the palate, expect a refreshing interplay of tropical mango and zesty citrus, supported by a firm bitterness and a crisp, dry finish. Its golden body and moderate carbonation make for a highly drinkable, aromatically intense experience that balances stone fruit depth with bright, vinous notes.
Appearance. Color is medium gold (approx. 7 SRM) with a slight haze. Features a medium-sized, white, persistent head with good lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by Nelson Sauvin's signature white wine, gooseberry, and passionfruit notes, complemented by Superdelic's contribution of red berries and citrus. Low grainy-sweet malt provides a clean background; fermentation profile is neutral.
Taste. High hop flavor echoes the aroma with prominent notes of white grapes, mango, and tropical fruit. Malt flavor is low and grainy, providing a lean platform for the high hop bitterness. The finish is dry and crisp with a lingering, clean hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate-high. Alcohol warmth is very low, contributing to high drinkability without any astringency.
