This Double IPA is a vibrant exploration of Pacific hop intensity, specifically showcasing Nectaron, Superdelic, Galaxy, and Riwaka. The aroma is an explosion of tropical fruit, characterized by intense passion fruit and peach from the Galaxy and Nectaron, alongside the distinctive red fruit and candy-like notes of Superdelic. Riwaka adds a sharp citrus and slight diesel edge that cuts through the neutral pale malt base. On the palate, a firm bitterness balances the 7.5% alcohol, while the hop flavors mirror the nose with layers of guava, lime, and stone fruit. It finishes dry and clean, emphasizing a modern, hop-forward profile.

Appearance. Gold to light orange-copper in color with a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head and good lacing. Good clarity, though a slight hop haze from the heavy dry-hopping is present.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring prominent notes of passion fruit, peach, and guava from the Nectaron and Galaxy. Superdelic contributes a unique red berry and candy-like sweetness, while Riwaka provides a sharp lime and grapefruit zest. Background malt is clean, neutral, and slightly grainy. Clean fermentation with a very subtle, smooth alcohol note.

Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors dominated by tropical and stone fruits. Moderately high bitterness that provides a firm structure without being harsh or astringent. Malt character is low and unobtrusive, providing a clean, soft breadiness. Finishes very dry and crisp with a long, lingering hop-derived bitterness and fruit-skin aftertaste.
