Browar Kingpin Weizen is a quintessential expression of the traditional Weissbier style, delivering a refreshing sensory experience defined by its classic fermentation profile. Prominent aromas of ripe banana and spicy clove lead the way, supported by a soft, bready foundation of malted wheat and Pilsner malt. On the palate, the interplay between fruity esters and phenolic spice is expertly balanced, avoiding any cloying sweetness through a dry finish and low bitterness. The beer’s characteristic cloudiness and a tall, moussy white head enhance its visual appeal, while high carbonation provides a spritzy, effervescent mouthfeel that emphasizes its light and approachable nature.
Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (approx. 3-4 SRM). Notable cloudiness with a distinct yeast haze. Supports a very thick, long-lasting, moussy white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity featuring a classic balance of banana esters and spicy clove phenols. Moderate bready, doughy, and grainy wheat character. Hop aroma is absent to very low.
Taste. Initial bready wheat and grainy-sweet Pilsner malt flavor. Followed by prominent banana and clove yeast character in moderate balance. Very low hop bitterness with a relatively dry, clean finish. No bubblegum or phenolic harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a fluffy, creamy fullness. High carbonation creates a lively, spritzy, and effervescent sensation on the tongue. No alcohol warmth.
