This Double IPA showcases a vibrant sensory profile driven by a specialized Subzero New Zealand hop treatment. It pours a brilliant pale gold, releasing an intense, concentrated bouquet of crushed gooseberry, passionfruit, and zesty lime. The palate is dominated by high-impact tropical fruit and white wine grape flavors, supported by a clean, neutral malt backbone that allows the hops to remain the focal point. A firm but smooth bitterness provides structure without harshness, leading into a crisp, dry finish. The sensory experience is defined by the oily, resinous depth of Southern Hemisphere hops, delivering a refreshing yet potent hop-forward character.
Appearance. Pale gold to light orange-copper with good clarity and a slight, acceptable haze. Features a moderate-sized, persistent white head with fine-beaded lacing.
Aroma. Intense hop aroma with prominent New Zealand characteristics including gooseberry, tropical passionfruit, and citrus lime zest. Low, neutral grainy maltiness in the background with a clean fermentation profile.
