Morphic is a powerful Double IPA that showcases the intersection of high-gravity brewing and modern hop saturation. It pours a dense, opaque straw-to-gold, releasing a pungent aroma of ripe tropical fruits, crushed pineapple, and citrus zest. The high alcohol content is masterfully integrated, providing a smooth, warming backdrop to the aggressive hop profile. On the palate, expect a wash of stone fruit and resinous pine, supported by a soft, bready malt foundation. Despite its 8.5% ABV and 19° Plato, the finish remains remarkably drinkable, balancing a firm bitterness with a velvety, full-bodied mouthfeel that lingers with persistent hop oils and a clean, citrusy aftertaste.

Appearance. Pale gold to light orange (SRM 6-8). Opaque and hazy as described, topped by a moderate-sized, persistent, white head with dense lacing.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominant modern American hop character featuring mango, pineapple, and grapefruit zest. Supported by a clean, neutral, grainy maltiness and low fruity fermentation esters. Alcohol is present but smooth and not solventy.

Taste. Strong, complex hop flavors of tangerine, resin, and peach. Bitterness is firm and moderately high but lacks harshness. The malt character is low and unobtrusive, providing a soft bready base. Finishes medium-dry with a lingering, hoppy, and resinous bitterness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate. Noticeable but restrained alcohol warmth provides a pleasant glow without harsh astringency.
