This Double IPA captures a tropical vacation in a glass, characterized by a lush, juicy profile driven by Sabro and Motueka hops. The aroma is dominated by distinct notes of creamy coconut and lime zest, layered over a vibrant medley of sweet mango and passionfruit. Despite its 7.6% ABV, the palate remains remarkably drinkable with a soft, supportive malt backbone. The bitterness is firm yet fleeting, allowing the exotic fruit character to lead into a clean, fruit-forward finish. It is a modern expression of the style that prioritizes extreme hop saturation and aromatic intensity over harshness.

Appearance. Pale gold to light orange (6-8 SRM). Opaque and hazy with a dense, creamy white head that exhibits excellent retention and lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of coconut and tropical fruit from Sabro, paired with lime zest and fresh citrus from Motueka. Low, neutral grainy malt sweetness in the background; fermentation is clean with very light alcohol notes.

Taste. Strong, complex hop flavors of ripe mango, pineapple, and sweet coconut. The Motueka adds a bright lime character that balances the tropical sweetness. Bitterness is moderately high but clean and brief, lacking any harshness. Finishes medium-dry with a lingering tropical fruit aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, smooth, and slightly creamy texture. Moderate carbonation. Subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present but remains smooth and non-solventy.
