This West Coast-style American IPA delivers a bold, resinous sensory experience driven by a complex hop quartet. Simcoe provides a foundation of earthy pine and passionfruit, while Mosaic introduces layers of ripe berries and tropical depth. The addition of Hyperboost Sabro infuses the profile with distinct, creamy notes of coconut and cedar, while Columbus anchors the finish with a pungent, herbal dankness. Built on a clean, grainy malt base, the beer presents a crisp, dry profile that emphasizes a firm, lingering bitterness. It is a modern interpretation where classic resinous traits meet contemporary tropical and creamy highlights in a seamless, punchy delivery.
Appearance. Medium gold to light amber (6-9 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a persistent, frothy white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent resinous pine from Simcoe, complemented by ripe mango and blueberry from Mosaic. A unique coconut and cream-like sweetness from Sabro emerges, backed by the pungent, herbal dankness of Columbus. Low, clean, grainy-sweet maltiness supports the hop presentation without interference.
Taste. Initial impression of sharp resinous pine and citrus zest. The mid-palate reveals complex stone fruit and berry layers, transitioning into a subtle, creamy coconut note. Assertive, high hop bitterness is balanced by a light, cracker-like malt foundation. The finish is decidedly dry and lingering with a clean, hoppy aftertaste. Clean fermentation profile with no significant esters.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from the high hop oil content. Medium-high carbonation provides a crisp, refreshing bite. A well-integrated, gentle alcoholic warmth is noticeable but smooth.
