Brouwerij Maallust Veldwachter Bock is a powerful, traditional Dunkles Bock that evokes an old-school character. This deep brown lager displays stunning ruby red highlights beneath a persistent, creamy head. The profile is driven by a complex foundation of Munich and Vienna malts, delivering intense aromas of toasted bread and rich Maillard products. On the palate, it unfolds with layers of dark caramel and a refined hint of roasted malt, balanced by a restrained bitterness. Appearance. Deep brown with distinct ruby red and garnet highlights; brilliant clarity. Topped with a large, creamy, persistent off-white head that leaves moderate lacing.
