TSVNAMI is a collaborative Double New England IPA between Brouwerij LOST and Mad Scientist, showcasing an alchemic blend of experimental hops. At 8.1% ABV, this double dry-hopped powerhouse surges with an intense sensory profile. The aroma and flavor are dominated by waves of bright citrus, complemented by an unusual and enticing depth of sweet red fruits and ripe berries. While it carries the strength of a Double IPA, the presentation is unmistakably hazy and juicy, prioritizing a soft, plush mouthfeel over aggressive bitterness. The result is a vibrant, modern ale that balances potent alcohol warmth with a lush, tropical, and berry-forward hop saturation.
Appearance. SRM 6-8, pale gold to light orange. Opaque, heavy haze consistent with the style. Moderate-sized, persistent white head with dense lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent bright citrus, tangerine, and lime, layered with distinct notes of strawberry and red currant from experimental hops. Low, neutral grainy malt in the background with a lightly fruity fermentation profile and a hint of clean alcohol.
Taste. Leading with a strong, complex hop flavor of citrus zest and sweet red berries. Low, soft, bready malt character provides a supportive base. Bitterness is moderate and smooth, lacking any harshness. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering juicy fruit character and a clean, gentle alcohol presence.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a creamy, soft texture. Moderate carbonation. Notable but restrained and smooth alcohol warmth. Devoid of hop-derived astringency.
