Appearance. Opaque, jet black in color. Crowned by a dense, deep tan head with moderate retention. Due to the high alcohol content and barrel-aged viscosity, prominent legs are visible on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity aroma featuring a rich blend of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and molasses. The bourbon barrel aging is prominent, contributing strong notes of vanilla, oak, and a hint of coconut. Esters of dark fruits, specifically prunes and raisins, complement a smooth, spirit-like alcohol presence.
Taste. The initial impression is an intense wave of bittersweet cocoa and charred grain, followed by a complex layer of bourbon-soaked oak and vanilla.
