This massive Imperial Stout from Brouwerij Kees pours like liquid obsidian, offering a decadent sensory experience inspired by a Canadian breakfast. Intense aromas of rich maple syrup and aromatic vanilla intertwine with deep-roasted coffee and bittersweet chocolate. On the palate, the 14.1% ABV provides a significant but smooth warmth that carries flavors of charred oak, dark molasses, and toasted nuts. The maple addition lends a luxurious, lingering sweetness that balances the aggressive roast character.
