Druppel Ipanema is an aromatic Belgian Blond Ale that bridges traditional yeast complexity with a vibrant New World hop character. The sensory profile is built upon a foundation of soft, grainy-sweet malt and a hint of honey, which is rapidly overtaken by an exotic profile driven by a double dry-hop of Citra and Mosaic. These hops contribute bright bursts of mango, grapefruit, and passion fruit, harmonizing with the subtle peppery phenols and orange esters typical of the style. Bottle refermentation ensures a lively, effervescent texture, leading to a clean, medium-dry finish where tropical fruit and crackery malt linger refreshingly.

Appearance. Deep gold color (5-6 SRM). Large, dense, and creamy white head with excellent retention and characteristic Belgian lacing. Generally clear, though a faint haze may be present due to the double dry-hopping process.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity featuring a complex blend of mango, passion fruit, and citrus (grapefruit/lime) from dry-hopping. Background notes of grainy-sweet, crackery malt are complemented by subtle spicy-peppery yeast phenols and light orange esters.

Taste. Initial impression of soft, lightly honeyed malt sweetness followed by a wave of tropical fruit and citrus peel. Medium bitterness provides a firm balance to the malt.
