De Man In De Morgen is an assertive Imperial Stout that leans heavily into its iced coffee inspiration, utilizing the darkest roasted beans to create a commanding sensory profile. Poured jet black, it releases an intense perfume of espresso and bittersweet chocolate. This deep charred malt character is supported by subtle notes of black licorice and dried plums. On the palate, the high alcohol provides a smooth, integrated warmth that carries flavors of dark cocoa and scorched grain through a long, bittersweet finish. It is exceptionally full-bodied with a velvety, chewy texture that emphasizes the richness of the specialty dark malts and intense coffee infusion.
