This Double IPA presents a lush, modern sensory profile, defined by its substantial use of wheat and oats which cultivate a remarkably full and creamy mouthfeel. The aroma is an intense bouquet of tropical fruit and floral notes, driven by the unique interplay between Nelson Sauvin and Sabro hops. Expect signature Nelson Sauvin cues of crushed white grapes and gooseberry, seamlessly layered with Sabro’s distinct coconut and stone fruit character. At 8.5% ABV, it carries a well-integrated warmth that supports a complex hop saturation. The finish is smooth yet impactful, balancing a soft bitterness with a lingering impression of pineapple and citrus.

Appearance. Gold to light orange (7-9 SRM) with a significant, uniform haze. Features a moderate-sized, persistent, white head with good lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring white wine, crushed grape, and gooseberry from the Nelson Sauvin, complemented by coconut, tropical fruit, and a hint of mint from the Sabro. Low grainy-bready maltiness from the wheat and oats is present in the background, with a clean, lightly fruity fermentation profile.

Taste. Strong, complex hop flavors of tangerine, tropical fruit, and vinous white grape. A low, supportive bready malt character provides a soft foundation. Bitterness is moderately high but smooth, avoiding harshness or resinous bite. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering fruity aftertaste and a clean, smooth alcohol presence.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notably creamy, silky texture from the wheat and oats. Carbonation is moderate. A restrained, smooth alcohol warmth is present, and there is no perceived hop astringency.
