This Winter Seasonal Beer presents a deep, comforting profile centered on a robust Winterbock base. Rich aromas of toasted malt and heavy caramel intertwine with the distinct, spicy herbal note of star anise. On the palate, a velvety sweetness provides a foundation for complex layers of dark fruit and molasses, while the star anise adds a cool, licorice-like counterpoint to the malt's warmth. Appearance. Deep copper to dark brown (22-30 SRM); clear to nearly opaque; voluminous, persistent tan head with fine lacing.
