This Double IPA delivers a high-decibel sensory experience, matching its thrash metal inspiration with an intense hop profile. A punchy aromatic front of resinous pine and bright citrus leads into a lean malt backbone. Despite its 8% ABV, the beer remains exceptionally drinkable with a clean, dry finish that emphasizes bitterness without harshness. It captures the aggressive spirit of its tribute through a sharp hop-forward balance, showcasing a complexity of tropical fruit and floral notes that linger long after the initial sip, typical of a well-executed strong American ale that favors drinkability over heavy malt weight.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper in color (SRM 8-10) with good clarity and a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head that leaves consistent lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring notes of citrus zest, resinous pine, and tropical stone fruit. Background malt is neutral and slightly grainy, with a clean fermentation profile and a subtle, integrated alcohol presence.
