Cuvee Andy is a sophisticated Wild Specialty Beer that bridges the gap between a rustic West Flanders Ale and a contemporary IPA. Aged in the brewery’s signature Friendship foeder, it exhibits a complex marriage of sharp lactic acidity and earthy, herbal hop character derived from Forrest Farm-Warneton hops. The Morpheus yeast strain imparts deep stone fruit esters, while the oak aging contributes subtle vanilla and structural tannins. This amber-hued ale offers a vibrant, funky profile where the resinous qualities of the hops dance alongside a puckering tartness, resulting in a sophisticated, bone-dry, and deeply refreshing sensory experience.

Appearance. Pours a hazy, deep gold to amber (10–14 SRM) with a fine-beaded, off-white head that dissipates relatively quickly, leaving a light collar of lace.

Aroma. High intensity; prominent lactic tartness and farmhouse funk (hay, light leather) lead into earthy, spicy, and slightly resinous hop notes from the Forrest Farm-Warneton varieties. Secondary aromas include apricot, lemon zest, and a touch of toasted oak.

Taste. An immediate, sharp lactic acidity defines the palate, followed by stone fruit flavors and a rustic, grainy malt backbone. The hops provide a moderate, herbal bitterness that is tempered by the sourness. The finish is exceptionally dry and lingering, with a final note of oak tannin and citrus peel.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high, prickly carbonation. A mild, woody astringency from the foeder aging enhances the dryness and provides structure. Minimal alcohol warmth.
