This decadent Barrel Aged Coffee Stout presents a deep, sensory-rich experience driven by twelve months in Heaven Hill barrels. The base Imperial Stout character provides a robust foundation of dark chocolate and roasted malts, seamlessly integrated with a high intensity of freshly roasted coffee. The extended aging imparts distinct notes of toasted oak, sweet vanilla, and a mellow bourbon warmth. Expect a complex interplay between charred grain bitterness and the subtle, dark fruit esters typical of a high-gravity ale.
