This intense Dreifachbock pushes the Doppelbock style into decadent, barrel-aged territory. Rich, mahogany-hued and viscous, it presents a complex interplay of deeply toasted Munich malts and the multifaceted Schisandra chinensis, known as five-flavor-fruit. The Bourbon barrel aging introduces layers of vanilla, charred oak, and toasted coconut that meld with the berry’s unique profile of sweet, spicy, and slightly tart notes. At 11.7% ABV, the warmth is significant but smooth, supporting a dense palate of dark fruit leather and caramel. It is an indulgent, full-bodied experience where traditional German malt depth meets the adventurous influence of American oak and exotic botanicals.

Appearance. Deep mahogany to dark brown with ruby highlights; opaque clarity. Pours with a small, fine-beaded, light-tan head that shows moderate retention and oily lacing, characteristic of its high gravity.
