This Imperial Grodziskie, affectionately dubbed 'Polish Champagne,' elevates the traditional smoked wheat ale with a robust 6.5% ABV and enhanced depth. The sensory profile is defined by a prominent, clean aroma of oak-smoked wheat malt, evoking images of a crackling campfire without the harshness of beechwood. Native Polish hops contribute sophisticated floral and herbal notes that weave through the smoky layers. On the palate, a crisp, cracker-like malt backbone supports an assertive yet elegant smokiness and moderate bitterness. Despite its increased gravity, it maintains a highly effervescent and refreshing character, finishing bone-dry with a lingering trail of refined oak smoke and noble spice.

Appearance. Straw to pale gold (3-5 SRM). Massive, billowy, snow-white head with exceptional retention and thick lacing. Brilliant clarity with a vigorous, champagne-like effervescence.

Aroma. High intensity of clean oak smoke, presenting as dry, woody, and campfire-like. Moderate floral and spicy character from native Polish hops. Low bready wheat malt sweetness provides a clean base. Fermentation is very clean with no detectable esters or phenols.

Taste. Initial impression is crisp and dry. Prominent oak smoke flavor is well-integrated with a bready, wheat-forward malt core. Moderate hop bitterness provides a clean, refreshing snap. Hop flavors are floral and herbal. The finish is very dry and clean, with a lingering smoke and spicy hop aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body, notably fuller than a standard session-strength Grodziskie. High, prickly carbonation provides a sharp, spritzy mouthfeel. Very subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth. Smooth and free of any smoke-derived astringency.
