BRLO Rosinenbomber is an imposing Imperial Stout that drops a rich sensory payload of dark, decadent flavors. At a commanding 12% ABV, it envelops the palate with a luxurious combination of sweet vanilla and deep, bittersweet chocolate, evocative of premium dark confectionery. This intense aromatic profile is underpinned by the style's classic dark roasted grains and a subtle, dark-fruit undertone reminiscent of raisins and figs. Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque (SRM 40+). Pours with a thick, persistent, deep tan head that leaves dense, sticky lacing on the glass. Highly viscous, showing prominent legs that cling to the sides of the glass upon swirling.

Aroma. High intensity. Prominent aromas of rich dark chocolate, sweet vanilla bean, and heavily roasted espresso beans dominate the nose. Hop aroma is very low, presenting as a faint earthy note, while the high alcohol provides a smooth, non-solvent warmth.

Taste. The initial impression is intensely rich and bittersweet. Deep cocoa, dark chocolate, and creamy vanilla flavors immediately coat the tongue, supported by a robust dark roasted malt backbone tasting of espresso and slightly charred grain. Hop bitterness is firm but balanced by the sweet, dessert-like adjuncts. The fermentation profile adds complexity with notes of dark raisins and black cherries. It finishes moderately sweet and lingering, with a complex aftertaste of roasted barley, chocolate-covered raisins, and comforting alcohol warmth.

Mouthfeel. Full to very full-bodied with a luxurious, velvety, and chewy texture. Carbonation is low to moderate, enhancing the beer's creamy weight. A smooth, deep alcohol warmth is highly noticeable but well-integrated, avoiding any harsh or hot sensations, with no perceptible astringency.
