Royal McPoyle is a decadent take on the American Porter, reimagined as a liquid breakfast. This Imperial-strength offering pours with a dense character, immediately releasing indulgent aromas of grade-A maple syrup and warm, freshly ground cinnamon. The sensory profile is defined by layers of French-toast nostalgia, weaving together the creamy sweetness of vanilla with the richness of melted milk chocolate. While the dark roasted malts provide a sturdy, toasted bread-like foundation, the addition of lactose creates a velvety texture that mimics maple waffle cereal. Each sip concludes with a lingering, pastry-like finish of spiced cinnamon buns and sweet, sticky syrup.
Appearance. Very dark brown to near opaque black (SRM 38+). Topped with a dense, creamy, tan-colored head that shows moderate retention and leaves light lacing.
Aroma. High intensity; dominant notes of sweet maple syrup and aromatic cinnamon spice. Background of vanilla and milk chocolate. Low roasted malt character resembling toasted bread; hop aroma is absent, overshadowed by dessert adjuncts.
